About FBWSC at Fort Bliss
About Fort Bliss – Fort Bliss, built in 1847, is one of America’s oldest and largest military installations. Spanning 1.2 million acres, Fort Bliss provides premier training facilities and can accommodate every weapons system in the U.S. Army arsenal. It is also a strategic deployment platform, well-suited for rapid mobilization and deployment of combat forces. The Installation’s main cantonment is located in Texas, and its 6 training ranges are located in New Mexico. The entire service area is split across 3 separate counties, with a travel distance of up to 50 miles between locations.
About FBWSC – FBWSC is our first subsidiary, responsible for the complete operation and renewal of water resources for this sprawling military base. Our service area expands beyond the Fort Bliss main cantonment in El Paso, TX, providing additional coverage for the Dona Ana, MacGregor, and Myers Range Camps in southeastern New Mexico. FBWSC produces more than 70% of the Installation’s water demand through multiple potable water wells located throughout the Installation. State-certified operators ensure the safe delivery of all potable water and the secure removal of wastewater, adhering to local and federal regulations. FBWSC also participates in the construction of major infrastructure projects to further support the growth of Fort Bliss.
