About PSUS at Fort Jackson
About Fort Jackson – Fort Jackson’s primary mission is providing the Army with trained, disciplined, motivated, and physically fit soldiers who uphold the Army’s core values and are focused on teamwork. Succeeding in that mission means training in excess of 36,000 basic training and 8,000 advanced individual training soldiers every year. 34% of all soldiers entering the Army each year are trained at Fort Jackson.
About PSUS – In 2008, Palmetto State Utility Services (PSUS) was established, and it serves as the sole provider and operator of Fort Jackson’s water and wastewater systems, supporting the vital work of the entire military installation. PSUS ensures reliable utility services across the installation and manages fluctuating demand through advanced monitoring systems and flexible operational procedures.

“Very responsive to the area and began their assessment on what was needed immediately. I was kept informed throughout the process. The ASUS team was prepared with the equipment required, and when a specific part was needed, it was delivered to the site within 10 minutes. I was extremely impressed with all of the skill showed by each of the ASUS team working on this issue. Once the job was complete the ASUS team left the area in a very clean state. I received a phone call…the following day (this morning) inquiring about the job and how the site was left. All in all, it was an extremely well managed job from start to finish.”
