Went to school at Texas A&M and still love to watch the Fight'n Texas Aggies! Undergrad in Aerospace Engineering and MS in Mechanical Engineering. Started at Rolls-Royce Allison in '94 working on gas turbine engine technology; moved on to CD-adapco in '98 performing CFD analysis. Joined Jacobs in '04 doing CFD and later moved to Business Development. Began ASUS in '22 and have enjoyed learning, growing, and innovating.

Hobbies & Interests

Coaching soccer, lawn/landscaping, reading good books, puzzling, supporting my church, and striving to become an Escape Room aficionado (wishing I could say 100% success rate!)

Family Interests

Married my Aggie bride in 1992; proud dad of four wonderful children … all adults now and beginning their remarkable journeys.

Prior to joining ASUS, spent approximately 25 years in federal service. During this time, served in various capacities for the Army and the Air Force. While with the Army, served as COR, Water Programs Manager, and Environmental Chief. While with the Air Force, served as the Asset Management Flight Chief with Environmental, Master/Community Planning, Housing Referral Office, Barracks Management, and Real Estate. Graduate of the Army Management Staff College, Sustaining Base Leadership Management Program.

Since joining ASUS in 2013, served as Utility Manager at multiple locations, Director of Operations and most recently, Vice President of Operations.

Background

I began my career with ASUS in 2014, stationed at Ft. Bragg and then Ft. Jackson, and spent much of my time supporting operations across all ASUS-owned utility systems. I bring 29 years of experience in construction, repair, and contract management, with extensive exposure to diverse geographical water and wastewater systems, multiple state regulatory agencies, capital construction, and comprehensive operations and maintenance. I previously provided direct oversight for ASUS' Capital Construction and Engineering Design Center. My leadership approach is rooted in servant leadership, driven by my commitment to my team and the work we do.

Education

Environmental Science and has held numerous certifications across multiple disciplines; including electrical, distribution, collections, and electronics, across several states.

Hobbies & Interests

I am married with three children. My favorite way to spend my time is watching my kids' sporting events and simply being with my wife.

I have been in the Utility and Engineering fields for approximately 36 years. Began working with ASUS in 2010 and in 2015 was asked to pioneer our internal Organic Construction Group. We grew the Organic Construction Crews to a team of more than 90 people before I advanced to oversee the entire ASUS Capital Program.

Hobbies & Interests

I am a Virginia Tech Hokie through and through and love southwest Virginia where Hokie Nation resides. I enjoy attending as many sporting events there as time allows with Baseball and Softball being my favorites.

Family Interests

I have a grown daughter and son and one granddaughter who I love watching grow up! I'm a dog person.

Enjoy boating on the Chesapeake Bay with family. Spend time in Ocean City, Maryland, soaking up the sun and bodyboarding in the surf. Fishing is one of my great passions in life — offshore fishing for billfish and tuna is where I can truly disconnect from the world and be completely "in the moment."

I am a big fan of my hometown teams, Ravens and Orioles, as well as the Maryland Terrapins. My son and I attend multiple games for each team every year.
